Wood Cutting board

A cutting board that plays with perception. From a distance it looks like wood, yet it is made from roller pressed clay. Using an old press and carved woodgrain reliefs, the surface takes on the familiar appearance of timber while revealing the strength and durability of stoneware. A handcrafted design object for everyday use, inviting a second look and reminding us that not everything is quite what it seems.
